August Event

In August, we are thrilled to be hosting Part II of the Salary Negotiation Workshop Series. 

Who: UWOW members, colleagues, and friends
What: A luncheon and seminar by Amy Gleason, a University of Utah Career Coach. The seminar is titled "Negotiating Once You Get the Offer...Next Steps to Getting What You Want."

Amy works in both Career Services and the Alumni Association, Amy feels fortunate to serve alumni of all ages and stages of career development. She has experience in a variety of settings: county social services, non-profit agencies, healthcare and education. She studied abroad in France and got her  TESOL training/certification in France. She has taught international students  in the English Language Institute and started an ESL business teaching English and career coaching students and professionals from all over the world.  Amy received her M.A. in Education Counseling from CSU San Bernardino and a B.A. in Social work, Minor in French from Purdue University.
Amy now coaches University of Utah Alumni professionals to gain the skills and confidence they need to find a new job after a forced transition, or to find their dream job in mid to late career stages. Amy’s message? It is NEVER too late to find the job that is your match - and regardless of your age or experience, you CAN do it! Change your job, change your life.

Additional Details: This event is made possible by a grant from the Utah Women's Giving Circle. There will be no cost to attend, however an RSVP is necessary for planning and ordering food.
