Women of Water has been involved with presenting a workshop at Expanding Your Horizons (EYH) for the last several years. EYHN is a 501(c)3 nonpro fit organization dedicated to providing gateway STEM experiences to middle and high school girls that spark interest in STEM activities and careers.
Their 2017 event will be Saturday, March 11, approximately 7:30am – 2:00 pm, at 1575 South State Street (SLCC’s South City campus). EYH expects to serve 500 girls at their event in grades 6-10 this year!
We just need a few volunteers who are willing to present and work with inspiring our future women. We have a presentation ready to go ("Down the Drain and Back Again"), or you can create your own. If you are interested in helping out, please email womenofwater by December 20th.
